Mariana Chiribagula Umba

Bicultural Support Worker

As a Support Worker, I’m responsible for reaching out to the community and supporting them with their resettlement needs. Community service is a passion of mine, which is one of the reasons I chose this area of study at Charles Darwin University.

My other passions include trying new things and continually learning more. One thing I’ve learned is that life can present many challenges. This is why I believe everyone deserves a second chance and I’m inspired to help people achieve their goals.

Outside of work, you’ll find me spending time with my children and enjoying moments of prayer. My aspirations for the future are to continue to learn and grow through life’s experiences, for the betterment of myself and my family.
