Erin Plumb

Case and Services Coordinator

The focus of my role is to help migrants and refugees integrate as fully as possible into their new community and way of life. This involves tailored support in the areas of parenting and family dynamics, social activities and capacity building. I’ve been working in public health for the past few years and was drawn to refugee health at the age of 9, when I visited my first refugee camp in Thailand.

My dream is to one day work in overseas refugee camps, implementing holistic programs and clinics to promote health and well-being among seriously traumatised people.

I love giving back, so when I’m not working, I volunteer with RescueNet, an international rapid response group that provides medical, search and rescue and distribution help for people in disaster zones and Cosmos Healthcare, a not-for-profit organisation providing health education in poverty stricken areas.
