Prajwal Khanal
Counsellor

Prajwal is a Counsellor at Melaleuca, working alongside individuals and families who have experienced trauma, torture, or displacement. His role focuses on creating safe, supportive spaces where people can find safety, hope, and connection as they rebuild their confidence and sense of belonging.
With experience across community and mental health settings, Prajwal has supported people from diverse cultural backgrounds through counselling, advocacy, and family support. These experiences have deepened his belief in empathy, cultural humility, and the strength that lies within each person’s story.
Prajwal is passionate about helping people feel seen and heard and is driven by the belief that everyone has the capacity to heal and grow. Outside of work, he enjoys creative projects, exploring new places, spending time in nature, playing cricket, and watching Formula 1 — activities that help him stay grounded and recharged.
He sees counselling as both a privilege and a partnership — a chance to walk alongside people through some of the most meaningful chapters of their lives.
