Etabez Donato

Support Worker & Program Coordinator, MyNT

My role entails working directly with our clients and their support networks, to help them achieve positive settlement and inclusion outcomes.

As I love to make people happy and provide support and opportunities to others, I’m grateful that I can integrate these passions into my professional life.

Outside of work, I’m a proud advocate for gender equality, which led me to co-found the Women’s Collective for Innovation and Change at Charles Darwin University. This student group focuses on empowering women and creating networking opportunities between students, local government, and the community. Importantly, we provide skill development workshops to further students’ opportunities to find suitable jobs.

I’m also currently studying for a Bachelor of Business and Certificate IV in Community Service. My dream is to use my degree to set up a not-for-profit organisation to support my local village in Ethiopia.
