Erin’s commitment to humanitarian work began at nine, when a visit to a refugee camp in Thailand sparked a lifelong concern for human dignity and access to care. That experience led her to nursing and public health, and to a career spanning healthcare and humanitarian services in Australia and overseas.
Since joining Melaleuca Australia in 2019, Erin has helped shape organisational direction, strengthen standards and build the capability to deliver lasting impact. She connects purpose with strategy, sound governance and clear accountability, combining compassion with the resolve to ask difficult questions and turn values into practice. Developing others is central to her approach, creating opportunities for people to build confidence, exercise judgement and step into their potential.
Her contribution extends to the IRCT Health Committee, NT Anti-Trafficking Working Group and Refugee Nurses Australia, among others. She also chairs working groups, bringing people and perspectives together to deliver meaningful outcomes today while strengthening the capability to meet tomorrow’s challenges.
