Jessica is a Case and Services Coordinator in Melaleuca’s Family and Children Services team, supporting clients by connecting them with essential services, coordinating their care plans, and helping them navigate the system with respect and dignity. Her background includes community engagement, social work, and client support.

 

In Colombia, she worked with NGOs supporting vulnerable communities, and in Darwin she has volunteered with multicultural organisations such as the Latin American Association and the Colombian Association.

Passionate about creating safe, inclusive spaces, Jessica values listening deeply to people’s stories, honouring their resilience, and walking beside them with compassion and respect. She is involved in community cultural events and volunteers as a coordinator for local festivals and support programs that promote wellbeing, belonging, and cross-cultural understanding.

 

Jessica dreams of a future where all migrants and refugees feel at home and can thrive with the right support and opportunities. Outside of work, she loves dancing, watching movies, camping, and exploring new places.
