Sophie is a Social Media Officer at Melaleuca, using Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to share updates and stories about Melaleuca and Mela Kulcha’s activities, events, and partner initiatives. Through her work, she helps amplify community voices and celebrate the diversity that makes the Northern Territory unique.
With a background in journalism and international development, Sophie has supported refugee and migrant communities across employment, education, and health promotion. She is passionate about equity, multiculturalism, and building a fair and inclusive society.
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys singing, playing music, and volunteering in her local community. She also mentors younger people and values thoughtful discussions about ideas, books, and films — even when opinions differ.
