I am passionate about refugee and migrant health and providing a safe, welcoming community for all in Darwin and the Northern Territory. In my role as Health Services Coordinator, I assist Melaleuca Australia clients to navigate the Australian healthcare system, connect people to healthcare resources, provide health education to clients, staff and the community and engage in health capacity building with healthcare providers and other community stakeholders.
In 2021, I moved to Darwin from the United States. I have a background in anthropology and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice in Midwifery and Sexual and Reproductive Health.
Prior to joining Melaleuca, I worked as a nurse-midwife for five years.
