Case and Settlement Services Coordinator
It’s essential that our newly arrived clients can navigate all aspects of the Australian way life. So it’s my job to coordinate a comprehensive orientation program to help them find their feet. This can include accessing housing, applying for Centrelink/Medicare benefits, enrolment for English classes, navigating our health system and everything in between.
Before joining Melaleuca, I worked in a variety of case management, support work and care roles in Melbourne and the UK, within the homelessness and tenancy support sectors.
On a personal level, I gravitate towards people who imbue qualities of openness, social purpose and a sense of humour. This is probably due to my line of work and the enjoyment of working with my Melaleuca colleagues.
My great passions in life include social and environmental justice, walking in nature and spending time with my family. Outside of work, I enjoy kickboxing, attending an art group and playing music. One day I hope to complete a Master’s in Social Work, so I can deepen my practice in this sector and work internationally.
