Maria Rosa Rodner

Support Worker

As an Anthropologist and Social Communicator, I’ve happily immersed myself in youth and community development and education for over 10 years. My experience includes working in youth justice and education programs in Venezuela and Australia.

I’ve also created and coordinated recreational, sporting and development programs for children, youth and their families In the Northern Territory. In my role with Melaleuca, I help our clients explore and familiarise themselves with Darwin, by accompanying them out and about in the community. I also create and set up recreational and educational activities with families and children. Youth education and development, using innovative and inclusive strategies, are my great passions.

This is one of the reasons why I plan to return to Venezuela – to actively participate in building an improved economic and social dynamic, aimed at embracing the strengths and qualities of young people.
