Jade Baker

Case and Service Coordinator

My job falls within the framework of the Settlement Engagement and Transition service. This service focuses on working with refugees and migrants within their first five years of arrival in Australia to optimise their settlement experience.

As a Case and Service Coordinator, I’m responsible for supporting, empowering and equipping our clients with the necessary information and skills to fully address their settlement needs. The nature of my work involves meeting a range of people from diverse backgrounds and it’s a huge privilege to be a part of their journey and witness their strengths and resilience.

I’ve recently obtained my qualification in social work and, over the next few years, I hope to continue my learning by completing a course in counselling.
